How to Structure Your Prompts for Better Output [Create a Scenario]

Context: Essentially what you're doing is building the brain of the AI you need in that moment. The more details, context, and parameters you give it, the better the outcome will be. Start with the end in mind. If you don't understand the goal, AI won't stand a chance.

Next, you can just have a conversation with Chat GPT as if it were a person, and just ask it for what you want. Often, this will result in some great outputs. However, there's levels to this. So let's explore the next level.

  • Build the brain / skillset / context

  • Establish the relationship between you and the AI / what data will you provide?

  • Create a scenario to work inside of

  • Explain the specific project or problem you're trying to solve, what's the result you want

How to use

  2. Open ChatGPT (or alternative)

  3. Use the skeleton above to create you prompt

  4. Iterate, play with it, tweak

  5. Publish

A few Extras

Add in your voice, context, personality. Ie: The message should be [funny, serious, technical, clever, witty, simple and easy to read]
